Biblical Feeling
A heart set on Christ leads us to put off earthly passions and clothe ourselves in the virtues of the new life we have in Him.
- Raised with Christ = Live for Christ: Since we’ve been raised with Christ, our hearts and minds must be set on things above—not earthly distractions.
- Put Off the Old, Put On the New: We are called to put to death sinful behaviors and clothe ourselves with Christlike virtues such as kindness, humility, patience, and love.
- Let Peace and Forgiveness Rule: In Christ’s body, believers must bear with one another, forgive as Christ forgave, and let His peace rule in our hearts and relationships.
- Let the Word Shape Your Worship and Words: God’s Word must dwell richly in us, leading to teaching, correction, and worship that overflows from grace.
- Do Everything for Christ, with Gratitude: Whether in speech or action, we do everything in Jesus’ name, with hearts full of thankfulness to God.
