We are called to trust in God completely, submit to His guidance, and honor Him in all areas of life, knowing He lovingly disciplines us for our good.

  • Hold God’s Word Close – Treasure and obey His commands daily; they bring peace, favor, and longevity (vv. 1–4)
  • Trust Fully, Not Partially – Lean on God’s wisdom, not your own understanding, and He will guide your path (vv. 5–6)
  • Live Humbly Before God – Fear the Lord, turn from evil, and experience His healing and renewal (vv. 7–8)
  • Honor God with Your Resources – Give Him the first and best, and He will provide abundantly (vv. 9–10)
  • Receive His Discipline as Love – Accept correction as a sign of His fatherly care and shaping for holiness (vv. 11–12)

T.R.U.S.T.

  • T — Treasure God’s Word (vv. 1–2): Life and peace come when God’s truth fills both your head and heart.
  • R — Reflect Mercy and Truth (vv. 3–4): God blesses those who carry His character into every interaction.
  • U — Understand God’s Role, Not Just Yours (vv. 5–6): God’s guidance is guaranteed when we acknowledge Him in all our ways
  • S — Submit in Humility (vv. 7–10): Humility in life and generosity in giving invite God’s blessing.
  • T — Trust His Discipline (vv. 11–12): Discipline is the Father’s tool to grow you into Christlikeness.
